I was outside gardening today. Depending on what zone you live in, you should be considering your garden plants and planting for Fall now.  I not a great gardener but even I know it takes a little work before the season starts.  If you enjoy growing vegetables but have never delved into fall gardening, it’s time to add Fall gardening to your list. I'm starting to discover that planting a fall garden is rewarding and possibly easier than gardening during the spring and summer seasons. In warmer parts of the country (like where I live), broccoli, kale, collards, spinach, lettuce, Swiss chard, and a number of wonderful herbs (like rosemary and cilantro) grow just as well in fall as they do in spring….sometimes better, to be honest. There are some great benefits to gardening in the fall: fewer insects and diseases to battle, less watering to be done, and less sweat!
